My mother, Carole Meyer, was a fashion model in the 1970s and ‘80s. In 1979 she was given a camera as a Christmas present and went from model to photographer, introducing her new business to her three young daughters at an early age. Her knowledge of all aspects of portrait photography created the base of the company that still bears her name.

That early exposure to photography led me to join my mother behind the camera after college. I specialize in senior portraits because I like to help teens see their inner beauty through photography, and use a fantastic makeup artist to help them look like themselves - just on their best day at the best angle in their best light.

Whether it’s a natural setting or an urban landscape, Portland is an amazing place to take pictures. I was born and raised here and now live here with my husband of many years, kids, and enormous dog. I know every nook and cranny of my southeast neighborhood, so whatever your personality, I always know a spot nearby to use as our location. I can’t wait to meet with you to find out what is best for you!

Cheers,

Kandece
